Kaven Leung Profile: Kaven Leung is Chief Executive Officer for Citi Global Wealth Management Asia Pacific. Assuming this role in April 2007, he is responsible for managing and developing the wealth management businesses of both Citi Private Bank and Citi Smith Barney in the Asia Pacific region. He manages nearly 2,000 wealth management professionals in Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and other global locations. He is also a member of the Management Committee of parent company Citi. From his 20 years at Citi, Kaven has accumulated a wealth of banking experience spanning capital markets, investments, risk management, asset management, and credit (he has been an accredited Senior Credit Officer since 2000). Kaven has previously held a number of senior regional management positions at Citi Private Bank. They include Market Region Head for Asia, Region Head for North Asia, and Region Head for Greater China, as well as head of the private bank for Hong Kong, Philippines, and Korea. Prior to joining Citi Private Bank, Kaven was a corporate banker with Bank of America. Kaven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from Iowa State University and a Masters in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University in 2000.
