Plaxico Burress shot in the leg: New York Giants star Plaxico Burress spent Friday night in hospital after being shot in his right thigh. The wide receiver, 31, was released from hospital early on Saturday after what the Giants have termed an "apparent accidental shooting" thought to have been in a nightclub.
