Woman signed boy out of school for sex: A former medical assistant is scheduled to be arraigned on four counts of statutory rape involving a 17-year-old Blackman High School student next week. Brenda M. Strahan, 45, of 2778 Rideout Lane, was indicted this month after Murfreesboro Police Detective Tommy Roberts received information from the boy, following a referral from the Rutherford County Department of Children’s Services. The boy's mother was present for the interview.
