Dallas hedge fund exec Barrett Wissman pleads guilty to securities fraud: A former Dallas hedge fund manager and classical music impresario pleaded guilty to securities fraud in connection with his role in an alleged kickback scheme involving New York state’s largest pension fund, the New York Attorney General said Wednesday. Barrett Wissman, who headed a hedge fund that managed money for the Hunt family among others, received $12 million in sham finder’s fees and other illicit payments as part of the scheme, said New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.
