Orlando Sentinel - Surfer phenom Bethany Hamilton to visit Dillard's, Melbourne Square by JeanPatteson: "Surfers, beachcombers and friends of the seashore, take note.
Bethany Hamilton (left), the teen surfer whose left arm was bitten off by a tiger shark -- and who was surfing again three weeks later -- will put in a special appearance at Dillard's in Melbourne Square, Melbourne, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. this Saturday.
Bethany, who took first place in the NSSA National Championships in 2005, will sign free photos for fans, and customers will receive a free Ocean Minded trucker hat when they purchase a pair of regular-price ocean Minded flip-flops. She is an 'ambassador' for Ocean Minded, an apparel and footwear company that uses recycled and sustainable materials in their products."
