Judge halts showing of explicit videos during trial: It was about 20 minutes into the first of dozens of explicit masturbation videos that showed a man accused of making child pornography having sex with a children's doll when Ontario Court Justice Robert Fournier declared he had had enough.
"We are not paid by the taxpayers to sit here and torture ourselves," Fournier said after watching the first few clips in one of the disturbing videos seized by police from Richard Osborn's south Ottawa townhouse in December.
The video showed a naked Osborn lying on top of the toy, which had been altered to allow him to penetrate it. The head of the Cabbage Patch-style doll also had its mouth carved out to facilitate other sex acts.
